The Challenge

Chick-fil-A's loyal customer base expected a digital experience that matched the legendary in-store hospitality the brand is known for. The mobile app needed to make ordering fast and personal, reward loyalty in a way that felt genuine rather than transactional, and carry the brand's warmth into every interaction.

We designed an ordering experience built around the customer relationship — surfacing past orders and favorites prominently, making customization intuitive, and streamlining the pickup flow to eliminate the friction that slows down the lunchtime rush.

The loyalty program was reimagined as a rewards journey rather than a points balance — communicating value through progress, celebration, and personalized offers that felt curated for each customer.
